I was born and raised in Saskatchewan and moved to Red Deer in 1989 after having completed my BSc in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology at the University of Alberta. I completed my MS in Speech-Language Pathology at Minot State University in 1991. I worked as a front-line therapist with both preschoolers and school-aged children for 14 years at Alberta Health Services (AHS). I then moved on to a leadership career at AHS in 2003 where I continue to currently work during the day.

My two sons were born in Red Deer and grew up in this wonderful city. They are now both of pursuing post-secondary education opportunities.
I started my private practise work in 2011. My goal was and continues to be to provide family centred care outside the regular work day.....thus the evening and weekend availability only.

I am a dog lover and currently the proud owner of a couple of Shelties. I also recently started to foster puppies who are waiting for adoption.
In my limited spare time, I like to read, garden, volunteer and get out on the water in my kayak.
